罗炳良（Daniel Law，1946 - ）

　　Daniel Law 罗炳良，香港本土著名作曲家、圣乐家，资深教育工作者及指挥家，部份作品乐谱现收藏于巴黎马勒音乐图书馆、德国海德堡大学、香港中央图书馆、香港中文大学图书馆及香港大学音乐图书馆等。


      罗炳良现任香港中文大学文学院院长兼中文大学音乐系教授，在大学教学工作中主要教授音乐理论，作曲，西洋音乐学，电子计算机音乐等。而学术兴趣则为中世纪及文艺复兴音乐，音乐分析及礼仪神学等。罗教授热诚参与教会及社会服务,现任建道神学院圣乐系顾问，香港政府康乐及文化处顾问，香港中文大学校董，香港中文大学崇基学院校董，中国神学研究院校董，香港作曲家联会董事，远东广播公司董事，香港音乐教育协会创会主席等。并且在所属教会，香港宣道会北角堂，担任不同岗位的事奉。

    罗教授的著作包括协奏曲，芭蕾舞曲，管弦乐，室乐，清唱剧等八十部作品，写作专业音乐学术论文、圣乐书籍、论文等百多篇。圣乐贡献方面包括写作两本《圣乐综论I及Ⅱ》,主编<华人圣颂)，(香港声乐作品集及香港声乐作品目录)共九册，《基督教圣乐路向论文集》等等：又协助出版《生命圣诗》，《校园颂》，《恩颂圣歌)，《普天颂赞2000》等。

    罗教授肄业英皇书院，中文大学及美国西北大学，他的作曲老师包括Antonio DOnato，Alan Stout等，指挥老师包括黄永熙，MarRaret Hillis，Stephen C1eobury等。曾任哈佛大学音乐系访问学人，史丹福大学访问研究教授各一年，罗教授屡获殊荣，包括美国荣誉音乐学会(Pi Kappa Lambda)资格，1984年入选剑桥世界音乐名人录等等。
