耶和华通过先知以西结警告我们不要崇拜“搭模斯”：

结8:14  他领我到耶和华殿外院朝北的门口。谁知，在那里有妇女坐着，为搭模斯哭泣。
结8:15  他对我说，人子阿，你看见了吗？你还要看见比这更可憎的事。
结8:16  他又领我到耶和华殿的内院。谁知，在耶和华的殿门口，廊子和祭坛中间，约有二十五个人背向耶和华的殿，面向东方拜日头。

耶和华要求我们要：

出34:13却要拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的柱像，砍下他们的木偶。
34:13    But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down theirgroves:

申7:5 你们却要这样待他们，拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的柱像，砍下他们的木偶，用火焚烧他们雕刻的偶像
7:5       But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down theirgroves, and burn their graven images with fire.

耶43:13他必打碎埃及地伯示麦的柱像，用火焚烧埃及神的庙宇。
43:13    He shall break also the images ofBethshemesh, that is in the<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

ffice:smarttags" /><?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire.

“柱像”在KJV版里叫：“grove”，Strong索引号码是：842

这里告诉我们这里该词来自“ashar”(833)，为腓尼基的女神阿希特拉。

这不就是我们前面学习过的宁录的母亲和妻子（Semiramis）吗？“阿希特拉丝”(古代叙利亚及腓尼基司性爱及生育之女神)。

这里告诉我们这个偶像是太阳神。

“grove”该英文单词有以下意思：

1. a small group of trees树丛；小树林literary
a grove of birch trees白桦树丛
2. a small area of land with fruit trees of particular types on it果树林；果园
